The Course

MBC offers a two-year course in Christian Theology & Leadership. The course itself is divided into four modules (semesters) which includes the core units of Bible Doctrine, Life of Christ, the Epistles and the Old Testament Surveys. In addition, we study the areas of Classroom Management, Platform Etiquette, Evangelism, Prayer & Fasting and many more.

Here is an example of a typical day at MBC - which  begins with devotion led by individual students.

Course Fee

The cost for the course is set at £125 per semester. The college has a very flexible approach regarding how a student's fees are paid - providing the amount due is settled within the current semester.

Meet the staff

 

Sis Carmen Hibbert is a member of the Birmingham Lighthouse UPC, where she serves as part of the leadership team – under the Pastoral leadership of Rev Mark Gadd - as well as being the Central District’s Prayer Coordinator.  Despite retiring from full time teaching, Sis Carmen is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of a Multi Academy Trust as well as the Chair of Governors of a Local Governing Body.  She also works as a Mathematical Consultant.

An educator for over 30 years, the majority of those years as a Senior Leader in secondary schools, Sis Carmen brings experience of strategic leadership, thinking and planning; she has a vision and passion for the expansion of the Kingdom of God; a strong believe that all should Study to shew themselves approved unto God, workmen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15) ; that through prayer great things can be achieved; that the pursuit of excellence is paramount and that the Church, anointed and equipped, is able to push back the kingdom of darkness and establish God’s will and purpose for this generation.

Reverend Cassidy is a licensed minister in UPC GB&I since 2011. He is currently serving as Central District Men’s Leader and his vision is to see men reach their full potential in Jesus Christ and fulfil their calling. He believes that men’s ministry is vital to the growth of any Church. He holds various positions in Faith Tabernacle Church of Milton Keynes, namely bible teacher, Men’s leader and Minister  – under the leadership of Pastor Aubrey Longmore since 2009.

His vision is to see the church reach its full potential and impact the community for Jesus Christ. He is an amazing teacher and preacher of the Word of God. He has a passion for souls to be saved, delivered, and healed. He strongly believes in equipping the saints to do the work of God.
