Over the sixteen years it has been operating, MBC has taught nearly one hundred students.
Millennial Bible College was founded in January 2000, in response to the need for a part-time Bible College in the Central District. MBC began at Bilston United Pentecostal Church (UPC), with Brother James Dallas as the first guest teacher. Its first session was on a Friday night and resumed on the Saturday morning.
Our Christian Theology and Leadership course is held over two years - only one Saturday per month. There have been many venues over the years from its beginning at Bilston, including Coventry and Milton Keynes before returning to Bilston. Over the sixteen years it has been operating, MBC has taught nearly one hundred students.
The philosophy behind MBC was to provide practical opportunities as well as theological lessons. From its first year, MBC always tied in its monthly sessions with the District Missions Rallies - where students would be involved in outreach in the afternoon - after training in the morning.
MBC has always sought to encourage people to minister even if they do not become a “licensed minister”. This was illustrated by our first graduates - who included Shaun Hemmings (now Missions Promotions) and Jonathan Ogle (now licensed minister and National Youth Director).
In this increasingly digital age, MBC have recently (September 2015) introduced an online distance learning course - from the comfort of your own home or wherever you have internet access. Ideal for those who work shifts, who might not have transport available or even have family commitments. Should you be available to attend in person occasionally, you will be made very welcome at MBC.
